Original Toronto Star caption: On the very day that J. Arthur Rank visited Toronto last May, a rather torrid blast came hurtling out of old London town in his direction. The cables crackled with the information that a new Rank picture, The Brothers, had been premiered in England and that the critics had thrown their typewriters at it, leaving words like sadistic, brutal. and inexcusable lying around before they let fly.
