Original Toronto Star caption: To the aid of bomb victims. Hon. Earl Rowe, M.P., is shown above with the pure-bred shorthorn heifer he has donated for a lucky draw for the Red Cross British Bomb Victims' Fund and another war charity. Ten pounds of poultry or a $2 bill qualifies one for a ticket for this animal that has a pedigree originating in Scotland many generations ago. The Dufferin-Simcoe poultry production plan, sponsored by Mr. Rowe and his committee, promises to be a great success because everyone in the riding is co-operating.
