Original Toronto Star caption: Perfect balance is the name of the game for Toronto gymnast Elfi Schlegel, 13, as she puts in one of her 4 1/2-hour practice sessions in the gym. Training is a daily grind for anyone like Elfi who wants to reach the very peak of gymnastic perfection, but thousands of Ontario girls and women are discovering that it's fun, too. Elfi even loves to practice and she recently won the Ontario senior women's championships.
