Original Toronto Star caption: Out of olympics, Ron Shaver of Cambridge was forced to pull out of the Winter Olympics yesterday because of a leg injury. The 24-year-old Shaver was seventh in men's figure skating competion but strong free style skating had given him an outside chance at a medal in tonight's windup. Shaver injured groin during training yesterday and was forced to pull out when he found himself unable to perform jumps.
