Original Toronto Star Caption: McKinley Calhoun full-time worker at St. Christopher House, said there was no way Black militants could force out the Whites because the staff kept firm control over admissions and insisted that it be kept open to all teens in the area. But, Calhoun explained, the reason why so many club members are Negro could be because there are so many Negro families living close to the settlement house.
