Guiding spirit behind Cullen Gardens and Miniature Village, a fantasyland just north of Whitby, is Len Cullen, 60, president of Weall and Cullen Nurseries. Each of the buildngs cost an average of $5,000 and there are 600 village 'people'.

Reviving the giant: Paul Jacobus Erasmus, the 38-year-old bachelor president of Canadian Breweries Ltd., would like to find more time to spend on the finer details of investing $55 million which Canadian Breweries has available. He is leading the fight to life the beer giant from its present economic doldrums. His major task now, however, is to sell more beer in Canada and the United States.

For giant thirsts. Tom Culligan, founder and president of the Second Cup group of coffee houses, pours coffee into a giant cup (in reality a 50-gallon drum) at a meeting of franchisees at the Ramada Renaissance Hotel yesterday. Culligan opened his first outlet 13 years ago.
