Parting gift: Retiring postman Bob Cooper holds a miniature mailbox filled with money given to him by residents on his route in the Keele St. Eglinton Ave. area on the weekend. About 75 neighbors turned out for the retirement party for Cooper, who has a delivered their mail for 32 years.

A Sarnia pediatrician convicted of sexually assaulting nurses and patients' mothers over a 16-year period has been ordered not to practise medicine for six months. And Dr. Kunwar Singh, 49, will lose his licence for a minimum 18 months if he's convicted of a similar charge within the next four years, a disciplinary hearing of the College of Physicians and Surgeons has ruled. A dream come true for former Scarborough insurance man Frederick Carlisle is his three-hulled Caravel II. He bought it 5 years ago for $25,000 and has cruised more than 20,000 miles with his daughters Nora, 11 (left) and Mary, 13, (right) and his wife. During the five-year getaway on the world's oceans the girls managed to pick up six years' credits on their correspondence courses. The Carlisles are thinking of crossing the Atlantic Ocean a second time next year.
