These adult students, who are studying the sociology of social change, are not only studying the theory but becoming involved in social change themselves. Their class project this winter is to go out into the community and try to persuade people who never thought they could attend university that they possibly could. Everything fits: That's as it should be - Ken Cummings is the teacher and if he can't do it right, everyone's in trouble. Cummings instructs in furniture design at Humber College and teaches his students to strive for a combination of good looks and practicality. Students are quick to pick this up, he says.
