The Toronto Free Hospital for Consumptive Poor was opened on September 2, 1904 by Sir William Gage and the National Sanitorium Association.  The name of the hospital changed to the Toronto Hospital for Consumptives but was also known as the Weston Hospital and Weston Sanitorium.
