Lot 19, Con. 2 West. Dufferin St. Shepard house, originally constructed of mud brick. Jacob Shepard owned the lot beginning in 1834. Like his brothers, Jacob took part in the Mackenzie rebellion of 1837, and was imprisoned for several months. Isaac Harrison, who owned the land starting in 1876, covered it with buff brick, making walls fourteen inches thick. Mr. Harrison and family standing on lawn.
