Lot 18, Con. 1 East. Yonge St. Outfit of James E. Hill threshing at home of John McKenzie. Numbered left to right: 1. George McKenzie 9. Florence McKenzie 10. John McKenzie 12. Edward Hill. John McKenzie was a farmer and owned a builders' supply business. Florence McKenzie was John's daughter, George was his brother. In 1912, John McKenzie built a farmhouse at 34 Parkview Ave that achieved heritage status in 1992 and has since been restored by the Ontario Historical Society.
