Original Toronto Star caption: Hunting For The Body of a 34-year-old man drowned in the 18 m.p.h current of the swollen Humber River; firemen search the Etobicoke bank if the river yesterday afternoon. The search was abandoned at dark and resumed this morning. The man was seen paddling an inflated boat down the river; over a waterfall built to oxidize the water; and into a whirlpool that sucked his craft down. A witness says the man came to the surface and tried to swim to shore but he went under again. His boat was found downstream; a life-preserver attached to it.
