Original Toronto Star caption: Muffin the cat revived. Fire gutted a third-floor apartment on Dundas St. W. near Keele St. today and also drove out nearby apartment dwellers. No one was taken to hospital; but police and firemen had to rescue at least a dozen cats and dogs that tried to hide from the smoke. Ambulanceman Peter Macintyre gives Muffin oxygen while owner Elsie Andrews looks on.
