Original Toronto Star caption: Rescue mission: A helicopter hovers to drop high-powered pumps into a 200-foot-wide crater at the Belmoral mine in Val d'Or. Que.; where eight men have been trapped since Tuesday. The pumps were used to siphon off water and prevent another mudslide that could prove disastrous.
