Original Toronto Star caption: Lucky escape: Donald Wright; 54; points to the spot where the bit of his power drill bored three inches into his skull when he fell off a stepladder. He turned the drill on and pulled the bit out. The stitches are from the 10-inch incision surgeons made to remove a bone fragment from his brain.
