As the first rays of the sun lit the horizon this Remembrance Day; a militia firing party from the Toronto Scottish Regiment fires a salute at the Cross of Sacrifice in the Veterans' Plot at Prospect cemetery. The Sunrise Remembrance Day service has been conducted by Earlscourt Branch of Canadian Legion for 30 years.
