It's Christmas for the Serbians

Original Toronto Star caption: It's Christmas for the Serbians. Serbians in Toronto celebrate their Christmas today. And last night they held a traditional Christmas Eve service at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox church. It started off with the blessing of the Badnjak-an oak tree strung with fruit and nuts-and then parishioners broke off the boughs and leaves as tokens of good luck. Rev. N.
