Thanksgiving services are timeless

The choir of St. Joseph's Anglican Church; Bramalea; leads the horse-drawn coach carrying Anglican Bishop Allan Read through Pioneer Village yesterday. Driver Jack Cowan; wearing a top hat; took the bishop to the 1856 Fisherville church in the village; where a non-denominational Thanksgiving service was held. The little Presbyterian church; a gift of the United Church of Canada; was full and a crowd outside was able to follow the service through loudspeakers.
