Original Toronto Star caption: For sale: The public will get a chance to buy a share of Air Canada soon. Much of the national airline's fleet is composed of modern planes such as this 747 jumbo jet, sitting on the tarmac at Pearson Airport yesterday. However, the airline is looking at a major purchase of planes to replace an aging fleet of 727s and allowing it to sell shares to the public would help raise the money.
