Original Toronto Star caption: Object of adulation: The first appearance in Metro yesterday of the supersonic Anglo-French jetliner, the Concorde, caused the kind of adulation normally reserved for visiting royalty and rock stars. Sightseers flocked to the airport to watch the needle-nosed plane touch down and mobbed the CNE to watch it fly past. And when it flew back to London today there was no shortage of takers for its 100 seats for the flight.
