Original Toronto Star caption: Two flight models of the Dash 7 - de Havilland of Canada's pride and joy - are near completion at de Havilland's aircraft factory at Downsview. This is a general view of in-plant construction. The first flight model already has its 1100 horsepower engines installed to swing an 11-foot propeller and will be comleted within a month. Roll-out ceremonies are planned for January and it will be flown for the first time in February.
