Original Toronto Star caption: Fire fighter makes splash at air show. A plane from the Ministry of the Environment dumps water on a blazing tow-barge yesterday during a demonstration of a fire-fighting technique known as fire-bombing. The action took place in Lake Ontario near the CNE grounds as part of the Canadian International Air Show. A feature of the weekend air show is the scheduled demonstration of the U.S. Air Force SR-71, called the world's fastest aircraft. The 60-ton jet plane has top speed of more than 2,000 m.ph.
