Original Toronto Star caption: Clearing the way for the proposed Pickering airport, Tom Gretton rams his bulldozer into an old shed north of Brougham yesterday and goes right up on the roof. Vic Priestly, the owner of the firm doing the demolition, says he's neither for nor against planes, he simply has a contract to tear down 14 buildings, most of them barns and sheds. He says people in cars have been following his trucks to dumping areas. An anti-airport group has kept members from pickering.
