Original Toronto Star caption: Riding the wind: The Snowbirds, the crack aerobatic team of the Canadian Forces, arrived in town yesterday for four performances at the CNE's International Air Show. Star reporter Jim Wilkes and photographer Boris Spremo got a whirl-wind ride yesterday as part of a preview show for the media. Decked out in flight coveralls, with a lifejacked over his head, strapped to a parachute and sitting on a life-raft pack, a helmeted Wilkes said the ride was exhilarating.
