Original Toronto Star caption: A school of ducks? The Dunbarton Duck proudly displays the nine ducklings she hatched last week in an enclosed courtyard at Dunbarton High School in Pickering. The female mallard has returned to roost at the school for seven years in a row, and has produced 65 ducklings in that time. Experts say ducks are territorial, and will return year after year to a successful nesting spot. After about two weeks, the ducks will go to a secret place in a nearby marsh.
