Original Toronto Star caption: Filing the hoof; Charlie Langen finishes shoeing a horse. He makes special shoes for some horses. Little Baron; for instance; has low heels and gets aluminum bar shoes that look like flat doughnuts. His left front foot is extra low and is shimmed up to make sure he has a steady gait.
