Original Toronto Star caption: Standing room only at Scotia Plaza site. Nothing attracts a crowd's attention downtown like a huge hole in the ground and the sight of workers milling about while heavy machinery fills the air with noise. Such was the case yesterday at Adelaide St. west of Yonge when these bystanders stopped to watch progress on the $400 million; 68-storey Scotia Plaza; which will be ready for occupancy by January; 1988.
