The Garys. Promoters. Ten years along, Gary Cormier and Gary Topp (in photo at right) - a/k/a The Garys - are still flinty pioneers in the high-mortality field of concert promotion. Legendary for their early shows with The Police, including a gig at the Horseshoe Tavern that has swelled to near-mythic status, Cormier and Topp still take chances on great unknowns while hoisting the banner for enduring punks such as Iggy Pop and The Ramones.
