Original Toronto Star caption: Stunned workmen lie near tar tank which exploded today; sending two men to hospital. One workman was badly injured. The men had parked the tranker at rear of Windermere Ave. apartment building to pump hot tar to the roof. Police said workmen and not opened a hatch to let the fames escape and prevent explosion.
