Original Toronto Star caption: First lake trout to be planted in Lake Ontario are taken from tub by Paul Calder and dumped from a Port Credit pier. We've used the coho salmon as a guinea pig to see what was happening in the lake; and now we feel pretty safe that lake trout will make it; an official said. There were 33;120 4-inch yearlings planted.
