Original Toronto Star caption: Antique silver; blacksmith's tools; candy bars and crocheted hats are among the thousands of items on sale every Sunday in the Picadilly Flea Market; in the Sheridan Mall. While up to 4;000 shoppers browse for bargains; Artelle Gilligan of Ajax has her portrait drawn by Michael Lavin of Toronto; who charges just $8.50. The flea market was started in 1972; operating only in the summer; and was moved to the shopping centre in December.
