Original Toronto Star caption: Freezing for gold: About 50 people waited outside Deak Canada Ltd.; even after the doors closed at 2 p.m. yesterday; hoping to buy gold. Some stood for three hours in the sub-zero weather only to find it was all gone - at $745 an ounce. It's the worst I've seen it; said Deak manager Stephen Harvey.
