Original Toronto Star caption: In a tavern on Yonge St. (from left) Diane Bruce; Tom Mankin and Debbie Chivers are over 18; the legal drinking age now; but in some cases beer is served to those 17; 16 or even case; 15. Perhaps others have been turned away at the door - but the teenagers of Ontario are drinking more than ever before. Since 1971; the number of drivers aged 16 to 19 involved in highway accidents has more than doubled; they now form the biggest group of drinking drivers in Ontario.

Canada's biggest service in booming temporary-help field is Office Overload Ltd. Clare Copeland, president, is shown in Toronto headquarters, ringed by employees (left to right) Lois Young, Laura Smith, Debi Perkins, Gayle Farnes, Janice Chivers-Wilson and Helen Wood. In an ironic switch, Laura Smith came in to look for a temporary job and wound up with permanent job-working full-time for Office Overload.
