Original Toronto Star caption: The oldest dredge in the Yukon is seen in action handling gravel on one of the creeks. It can handle nearly 4;000;000 tons in a season and make profit even from gravel running nine cents a ton. This is a rear view. The long arm is dumping waste dirt. At present; three dredges are working but with the war over a score will start again.
