Original Toronto Star caption: Do-gooders: Motorcyclists 1;000 strong were given a police escort up Younge St. yesterday - they weren't in trouble; but were taking part in the province-wide Ride for Sight which ended at Bass Lake Provincial Park. Through he didn't go along for the ride; Toronto Mayor Art Eggleton; inset; helped kick off the Metro riders' procession from the foot of Yonge St. Their goal was $25;000.
