Original Toronto Star caption: Museum treasure: Among the 75 cars on display is the 1908 McLaughlin F; the personal car of the late Col. R. S. McLaughlin; who founded the motor industry in Oshawa in 1907. In that year the car sold for $1;750; museum officials say it is now priceless. In 1918 the McLaughlin automobile interests were sold to General Motors.
