Original Toronto Star caption: Santa waves Hello to Toronto as he stands in splendor beside an elfin aide; 13-year-old Robert Phillips. An estimated 600;000 Metro youngsters and young-of-hearts were lining the streets along his sixmile parade route to welcome him today as he set out on his 66th spectacular annual Santa Claus parade; starting from the corner of Dupont St. and Dovercourt Rd.; and ending at Eaton's downtown store behind a cavalcade of 30 floats and 15 bands.
