Original Toronto Star caption: Combing the beach clean at Sunnyside; workers from the city parks and recreation department use rakes to clean up logs; tin cans; old tires and other debris that accumulated there over the winter; getting the sand ready for the summer swimming season. They have been at work on the project for the past two weeks. Today will still be a bit chilly for swimming; with a low tonight in mid-30s.
