Original Toronto Star caption: Polluted ditch behind Scarborough apartment buildings is a potential death trap for children; many mothers believe. Mrs. Warren Lewis; whose 6-year-old son; Jay; fell in the ditch Saturday; warns neighborhood children to stay away from it. Jay was covered with slime after his tumble into the ditch and now has a rash. A 4-year-old fell in three weeks ago and was rescued by neighbors with a rope.
