Tempera drawing by E. Kilgour. Inscribed l.r.: E. Kilgour. Used as Toronto Public Library staff house from 1928 to 1964 when it was demolished. The City of Toronto purchased the property form the estate of Dr. Charles McKenna in 1928. At the time it may have been rented by a family named Dawson which is why the artists refers to it as the George Dawson House.
