Robert Fair Hardware Store, 290 Queen St. East
A photograph of a hardware store named R. Fair. A number of people, men and women, young and old, are standing in front of the shop on the sidewalk and by the front door of the store, and in the street in front of the store a man is seated on a carriage being pulled by a horse. A number of items for sale including shovels, rakes and a stove are displayed outside the store. To the left of the hardware store is G. Hawkins Butcher, and a large number of animal carcasses are hanging from poles outside the entrance. Above the butcher store, a woman and a small child look out of a window.
