First published in Paris in 1791 under the title: Petit Jacques et Georgette, or Les petits montagnards auvergnats. The frontispiece, dated April 20, 1801, is engraved by Charles Pye after Richard Corbould. This adaptation has been attributed to Lucy Peacock.
