Crowded beach is on the lake side of Centre Island, a popular spot as Toronto's thousands sought cooling breezes and water as they enjoyed the fine, hot weekend weather. Ideal summer weather lured huge crowds to all of Toronto's beaches and sent other thousands driving out into the country for picnics and other country activities.
