Notes
Looking south. Subway Hotel at right. Heintzman Piano Lumber Yard at left. Back of card has date of 1898. Most likely this is a photo of funeral procession on July 29, 1907 for nine young men from the Junction who drowned when their boat sank in Humber Bay during a storm on route back from Hanlan's Point in the early morning hours of July 26, 1907. Headlines in the Toronto Star reads " Humber Bay waters claimed the lives of nine young men"  (residents of the Junction).
