Notes
Autograph (black ink), written on Undershaw stationery "Telegrams- Grayshott. Undershaw, Hindhead, Haslemere"; undated; signed "A. Conan Doyle". Possible date suggested by auction catalogue "The Sherlock Holmes collection of Daniel Posnansky" is 1903. The letter probably refers to the publication or one of re-issues of the A.C. Doyle's novel "A duet", originally published London : Grant Richards, 1899.
