French worsted department, York Knitting Company, Toronto, July 1921
A photograph of several dozen employees of a knitting company posing in four rows in front of a large brick building with windows. They are sitting and standing on the sidewalk in front of the building, and in front of them is a paved city street. The workers vary widely by age and clothing, and both men and women are included in the group. Most of the men are standing in the back two rows, while most of the women are sitting in the front two rows.
