Original Toronto Star caption: Walls are still defaced om Regent Park, where a lonely youngster sprawls in the sun, but residents have organized to fight the lack of security, the vandalism, petty crime and drunkenness found in their re-brick ghetto. Sixty per cent of the 8,347 people who live there are on one form or another of public assistance, which almost guarantees they'll stay there. so the residents have worked toward achieving dual management with the Ontario Housing Corp.
