Installation of the Sherlock Holmes Walk sign in 2001. Manager of Special Collections, David Kotin, dressed as Sherlock Holmes in a Deerstalker and holding a pipe, looks on. The Sherlock Holmes Walk is the laneway running north-south behind the Toronto Reference Library on the east side of the building. This initiative was supported by The Friends of the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection.
