Original Toronto Star caption: A rally against racism; organized in memory of Michael Habbib; drew about 300 people who marched with signs and banners from Christie Pits park to Trinity United Church on Bloor St. Rally speakers said the slaying of the 15-year-old black youth at Fairview Mall last week is one indication that racism is growing in Metro. The boy was shot dead; for no apparent reason; in the mall parking lot.
