Original Toronto Star caption: Parading up University Ave. in today's 14;000-strong Shriners parade; members of the Go Cart patrol from the Peel Shrine Club roll along in their miniature vehicles. It may well be the biggest parade ever seen in Canada; taking seven hours to pass any given point. In it were Shriners dressed as Arabs; Indians and clowns; floats; 135 bands; 300 horses; I live camel and I camel made of papier-mache.
